My vacation to Long Beach Island, NJ

On August 1-8 me and my family went to Long Beach Island, NJ. We went there on vacation. We had a lot of fun and we made memories there! 

One of the things we did was to go mini golfing at Sandbar located in Surf City. This is now my new favorite mini golf course. It was a nice evening for it. We had some friendly competition. 


Another thing I did was when I went to the beach. The beaches were beautiful and I swam in the ocean.
I collected seashells and walked on the sand. It was an amazing time!

I enjoyed walking in  Sunset Park in Harvey Cedars. I even saw an outdoor concert there! It was phenomenal! I even saw a sunset there! No wonder why it got its name! 


I enjoyed walking my dog Harley in Barnegat Light state park in Barnegat Light. It was a fun time! It was good exercise. We took a picture by the Barnegat Lighthouse! 


Me and my mom saw a Tom Petty tribute concert. It was an evening concert in Barnegat Light. The name of the Tom Petty tribute band was called Pure Petty. It was a great time! The performance was electric. 


I saw some beautiful sunsets during my time there. I love seeing sunsets at the NJ shore because they are beautiful! 


During the last day, me and my family went to the Black Whale Restaurant. It is located in Beach Haven. It has fresh seafood which I love. I got the soft shell crabs. They were so good! 

After dinner, my family went to Fantasy Island amusement park which is also in Beach Haven. We played carnival games and went on rides such as the bumper cars and the Shark Attack. 


On August 8, my family and I went back to Maplewood, NJ. It was a fun and relaxing vacation. It was an amazing time! Have you even been to the NJ shore? If so, What is your favorite part of the NJ shore?

   On Wednesday, September 17th, I saw the Long Walk at the AMC in West Orange. It was based on a novel written by Stephen King. Many of his works were turned into movies and TV Shows.  It was about the United Sates being taken over by a military regime. A second Civil War has happened and the US is in ruins.  The leader of the regime is called the Major. It is unknown about what is real name is. Every year e runs event called the Long walk. Many teenage boys are selected at random to participate. The young people start at the Canadian border for the Long Walk. Ray Garraty was one of these boys that was selected. He meets the other people such as Richard Harkness, Peter McVires, Arthur Baker, Hank Olsen, Collie Parker, etc. Ray and Peter form a close bond. The Major gives the young men water and rations. My beach vacation in Long Beach Island, New Jersey

  Summer 2025 was great. I was in Long Beach Island, NJ from July 25-August 1 2025. It was me, my mom, my dog Harley, my sister, my brother and his girlfriend. We rented a beach home at North Beach in LBI. It was right by Harvey Cedars. It also had beach access and we went to the beach to swim in the ocean.  We did a lot of amazing things in LBI. Me, my dog Harley and my mom went to Sunset Park in Harvey Cedars. We also saw sunsets there. It was breathtaking! Me, Jared, Abbie and Jaime went mini golfing in Jen's Link's. It is a mini golf place in Barnaget Light. It is a big mini golf corse and we had fun.  We even went out to dinner at the Black Whale seafood restaurant. It is a popular seafood spot in Beach Haven. Me, my mom, my brother and his girlfriend went. I had some lobster there and it was so fresh!  After dinner, we went to Fantasy Island. My ice skating experience

   This is me keeping my balance at the Mennen arena.  On March 15th, I was at the Mennen Arena is Morristown, NJ with some friends of mine. It was my first time ice skating in many years. Before the Mennen arena, I used to skate at the Codey Arena in West Orange, NJ.  I took the train to Chatham, NJ to visit one of my friends and my friend's mom drove us to the Mennen Arena. We met our other friends there. We rented our ice skates and we went on the ice. At first I was nervous but I got the hang of it. We were all ice skating around the Mennen Arena and we had a lot of fun.  They had music there and we all skated to the songs that they played.  It made me skate a bit faster. I liked the Shaboozey song: A Bar Song. It was a great song to ice skate to. I was able to stay on my feet during my time at ice skating.
