Summer 2026

Summer is coming soon and I am really excited for it! I cannot wait! Here are my favorite things to do in the summer.  I like to go to the NJ shore for the summer. I was in Long Beach Island, NJ from July 25-August 1 2025. I was in LBI for a week. I was there with my mom, my dog Harley, my brother and his girlfriend, my sister and one of her friends. My sister's friend visited New Jersey from Massachusetts. She lives in the Boston area.  We went to the beach, we went walking at Sunset Park, went out to dinner at the Black Whale and many more. We had an amazing time! Me with the sunset in Sunset Park in LBI I sometimes like to go to outdoor concerts. I saw a Beatles tribute concert last year at the Florham Park Gazebo. It is in Florham Park, NJ, not that far from the Florham Park Library. I saw it with a friend of mine and we liked it very much. My trip to Florida April 2026

  This is the view from where I was.  I was in Miami, Florida from April 16-23. I was there to visit my brother Jared and his girlfriend Abbie who live in that area. I had a pretty great time there.  My flight from Newark to Miami was in the evening. My father was with me at the time and he was on the plane with me. When we landed in Miami, Florida it was late in the evening. It was around 11:22 pm. When we went to my father's apartment, I got changed into my pajamas and went to bed.  The day after which was April 17, we went to the beach as well as the pool. There was a walking trail that me and my dad went to. During our time at the beach, it was low tide. I enjoyed it very much and it was beautiful. This is the ocean in Florida.  Another thing I enjoyed was the Bal Harbor Shops, It is a mall in the Miami area. Me and my father walked around there and went into some stores. Easter train ride at the Whippany Railway Museum

  This past March 29th I was at the Whippany Railway Museum with some friends of mine. We were there for an Easter Bunny train ride. My friend Peter works at the Whippany Railway Museum, he is the train conductor for the train excursions like the one I went on.  First we had to get our tickets up front at the ticket stand. After we paid for our tickets, we had to wait for our train. The Easter Bunny train was at 4:00 pm. After me and my friends got on the train, we got to our respective seats.  During our train ride, we saw many sights. We saw where a paper mill once stood. It is closed down. It was called the Hanover Paper Mill. It is no longer with us. Now it is wooded land.  We even saw the Easter bunny on the train! He was on the train during our excursion. Bowling at Rockaway Lanes

  On March 22nd, I went to a St. Patrick's day bowling gathering at Rockaway lanes. It was my second time there. My first time was in September 2025.  On March 22nd, 2026, my friend's mom drove me and my friend from Maplewood to Rockaway.  It was a long ride, but we made it! We waited for our other friends for a bit.  After our other friends came to Rockaway Lanes, we got our bowling shoes on and got to our bowling lanes. We split into two teams and played two games. We played to have fun. We had an amazing time.  After we paid for our separate bowling shoes and our time at Rockaway lanes, we went to Paul's Diner. Paul's Diner is a restaurant in Mountain Lakes, NJ. My friend's mom took me and two of my friends from the bowling alley to Paul's Diner. The exterior looks like something from the 1950's! My ice skating experience

   This is me keeping my balance at the Mennen arena.  On March 15th, I was at the Mennen Arena is Morristown, NJ with some friends of mine. It was my first time ice skating in many years. Before the Mennen arena, I used to skate at the Codey Arena in West Orange, NJ.  I took the train to Chatham, NJ to visit one of my friends and my friend's mom drove us to the Mennen Arena. We met our other friends there. We rented our ice skates and we went on the ice. At first I was nervous but I got the hang of it. We were all ice skating around the Mennen Arena and we had a lot of fun.  They had music there and we all skated to the songs that they played.  It made me skate a bit faster. I liked the Shaboozey song: A Bar Song. It was a great song to ice skate to. I was able to stay on my feet during my time at ice skating. Review of Come from Away

  The Come from Away Playbill On February 12, I saw Come from Away at the Paper Mill Playhouse. It was a one act musical about September 11th 2001 and people getting stranded at a small town in Canada.  It takes place in Gander, Newfoundland, Canada. Claude, the mayor of Gander, is informed by a woman named Janice, a news reporter, while at a Tim Horton's coffee shop. It turned out US Airspace was closed and 7,000 planes diverted to Gander. Two schoolteachers decided they should get blankets and bedding because the passengers were going to get tired and they would need a place to stay. The bus drivers were on strike initially, but they got the people to some shelters.  At first the passengers are confused as to why they were in Canada. They were later informed of what happened by the TV. There were planes that hit the World Trade Center in NYC and the people could not come home for quite some time. Super Bowl 2026

  On February 8th, I went to a Super Bowl Party. It was the Seattle Seahawks vs. the New England Patriots. I usually like to watch the commercials as well as the Halftime show when I am watching the Super Bowl.  First they did a coin toss. If it landed on heads the New England Patriots would kick off and if it landed on tails the Seattle Seahawks would do the kick off. It landed on heads and the New England Patriots did the kickoff for the Super Bowl 2026.  I am going to tell you my favorite Super Bowl Commercials for 2026. There was a montage paying tribute to NBC and its shows over the years. NBC is turning 100 years old this year and I thought that commercial was beautiful! I cannot believe NBC is turning 100 years old!  Another commercial I enjoyed was a movie trailer called Minions vs. Monsters. The reason why I like that commercial is because I was a minion for Halloween in 2014.  The movie is coming out this upcoming July and I am excited for it.  Th...
