Bowling at Rockaway Lanes


 


On March 22nd, I went to a St. Patrick's day bowling gathering at Rockaway lanes. It was my second time there. My first time was in September 2025. 

On March 22nd, 2026, my friend's mom drove me and my friend from Maplewood to Rockaway.  It was a long ride, but we made it! We waited for our other friends for a bit. 


After our other friends came to Rockaway Lanes, we got our bowling shoes on and got to our bowling lanes. We split into two teams and played two games. We played to have fun. We had an amazing time. 

After we paid for our separate bowling shoes and our time at Rockaway lanes, we went to Paul's Diner. Paul's Diner is a restaurant in Mountain Lakes, NJ. My friend's mom took me and two of my friends from the bowling alley to Paul's Diner. The exterior looks like something from the 1950's! I was in awe! 


When me and my friends went inside of Paul's Diner, we got seated right away because they take large parties. We were very hungry after our time bowling. I got some popcorn shrimp with a salad to start with and an apple pie for dessert. After I paid for my meal, I used Uber to get back home from Mountain Lakes. 

         

It was a long day but it was worth it! I had fun at Rockaway Lanes as well as Paul's Diner.

I was in Miami, Florida for Father's Day weekend. I was there from June 13-16.  I had an early morning flight from Newark International Airport to Miami International Airport on June 13. When I landed in Miami, Florida, I was astounded. I was  astounded by the palm trees as well as the warm weather. My dad was on the plane with me from NJ to FL.  My dad rented a condo in Miami, Florida and we stayed there. We went to the beach and the pool to go swimming. My beach vacation in Long Beach Island, New Jersey

  Summer 2025 was great. I was in Long Beach Island, NJ from July 25-August 1 2025. It was me, my mom, my dog Harley, my sister, my brother and his girlfriend. We rented a beach home at North Beach in LBI. It was right by Harvey Cedars. It also had beach access and we went to the beach to swim in the ocean.  We did a lot of amazing things in LBI. Me, my dog Harley and my mom went to Sunset Park in Harvey Cedars. We also saw sunsets there. It was breathtaking! Me, Jared, Abbie and Jaime went mini golfing in Jen's Link's. It is a mini golf place in Barnaget Light. It is a big mini golf corse and we had fun.  We even went out to dinner at the Black Whale seafood restaurant. It is a popular seafood spot in Beach Haven. Me, my mom, my brother and his girlfriend went. I had some lobster there and it was so fresh!  After dinner, we went to Fantasy Island. The Long Walk review

   On Wednesday, September 17th, I saw the Long Walk at the AMC in West Orange. It was based on a novel written by Stephen King. Many of his works were turned into movies and TV Shows.  It was about the United Sates being taken over by a military regime. A second Civil War has happened and the US is in ruins.  The leader of the regime is called the Major. It is unknown about what is real name is. Every year e runs event called the Long walk. Many teenage boys are selected at random to participate. The young people start at the Canadian border for the Long Walk. Ray Garraty was one of these boys that was selected. He meets the other people such as Richard Harkness, Peter McVires, Arthur Baker, Hank Olsen, Collie Parker, etc. Ray and Peter form a close bond. The Major gives the young men water and rations.
