Things I like to do during the summer

 

Memorial Day weekend was last week and is the start of summer. I am busy a lot during the summer months. Here are some things I like to do during the summer. 

One of the things I like to do is go to the beach. I have been to many beaches in NJ such as Hathaway Beach in Deal, Eighth Avenue beach in Asbury Park, West End Beach in Long Branch as well as the beaches in LBI and Ventnor.

I have been to Jenkinson's Boardwalk in Point Pleasant, NJ and I think it is cool.  I enjoy the beach because of the ocean as well as the seashells. I have been walking on the beach with my family and friends for many years. The NJ shore is so much fun. 

Another activity I like to do is to go to the Turtle Back Zoo. It is in West Orange, NJ and is not far for me. I have been there many times in the past and I enjoy it. My favorite animals are the flamingos as well as the giraffes. I am going to the Turtle Back Zoo on June 1st with my friends and I am very excited for it!

Another activity I enjoy is swimming, I have been swimming at the Maplewood Country Club pool for many years.  Last August me and my friend Jessy Leppert went to the Warrenbrook Pool in Warren, NJ. I had decided to do something different. We had a good time.

I enjoy going to my friend Mike Lowe's river house. His family owns a river home in Damascus, Pennsylvania. I have been there and I love it. It is right by the Delaware River and it is beautiful. I was there last June and I loved it!

My trip to Miami Florida

I was in Miami, Florida for Father's Day weekend. I was there from June 13-16.  I had an early morning flight from Newark International Airport to Miami International Airport on June 13. When I landed in Miami, Florida, I was astounded. I was  astounded by the palm trees as well as the warm weather. My dad was on the plane with me from NJ to FL.  My dad rented a condo in Miami, Florida and we stayed there. We went to the beach and the pool to go swimming. The water was warm when I was swimming in the ocean. We went for a walk one time and we saw the boats there. The boats were huge!   Me and my dad went out to dinner as well. On Friday night we went out to Carpaccio which is an Italian restaurant in Bal Harbour, Florida. It was so good! We had a Caesar salad as well as fried calamari to start with for an appetizer. My beach vacation in Long Beach Island, New Jersey

  Summer 2025 was great. I was in Long Beach Island, NJ from July 25-August 1 2025. It was me, my mom, my dog Harley, my sister, my brother and his girlfriend. We rented a beach home at North Beach in LBI. It was right by Harvey Cedars. It also had beach access and we went to the beach to swim in the ocean.  We did a lot of amazing things in LBI. Me, my dog Harley and my mom went to Sunset Park in Harvey Cedars. We also saw sunsets there. It was breathtaking! Me, Jared, Abbie and Jaime went mini golfing in Jen's Link's. It is a mini golf place in Barnaget Light. It is a big mini golf corse and we had fun.  We even went out to dinner at the Black Whale seafood restaurant. It is a popular seafood spot in Beach Haven. Me, my mom, my brother and his girlfriend went. I had some lobster there and it was so fresh!  After dinner, we went to Fantasy Island. Super Bowl 2025

 The Super Bowl was on February 9th. I went to my friend Jessy Leppert's Super Bowl party at his house in Bridgewater, NJ. It was the Kansas City Chiefs vs.the Philadelphia Eagles.  I had a great time at my friend's Super Bowl Party. I rooted for the Kansas City Chiefs, but I was happy that the Philadelphia Eagles won. I was happy they won because they did a great job.  Group picture Super Bowl 2025  I enjoyed some of the Super Bowl commercials as well. One of my favorites was Catherine O Hara vs. Willem Dafoe in a game of pickle ball. It was for a Michelob Ultra commercial. I enjoyed that one very much. Another Super Bowl commercial I enjoyed was the trailer for the live action Lilo and Stitch. Stitch was running across the football field and I was laughing my head off! It was so funny!
