Bowling with friends



This past March 9th, I was at Hanover Lanes in East Hanover, NJ. I was there with some friends of mine. I  have been bowling since I was younger.

I used to bowl at Eagle Rock Lanes in West Orange, NJ in the past. Sadly, Eagle Rock Lanes shut their doors permanently, which means they shut their doors forever. I was very sad to see Eagle Rock Lanes go. I enjoyed that place dearly. There is a part of me that wishes Eagle Rock Lanes was still open. 

First me and my friends needed to get bowling shoes at Hanover Lanes. We could not go bowling without our bowling shoes.  We were on two teams and we played two games. We had a lot of fun at the time. We were very happy there. I myself was having fun at Hanover Lanes. I bowled an 85 and 81 during the two games I played.



We did not win any prizes but we had a great time! All that matters is that we were having fun! After bowling was over, some of us ate at the bowling alley. There was a small snack bar there. 

I really enjoyed myself during my experience in Hanover Lanes. I had a really good time and I had fun bowling there! I hope to go there again in the future. 

Me and my friends have group outings during the year and I really enjoy them. For the next group outing, me and my friends are going to the Whippany Railway Museum. We went last October for the Pumpkin Train Ride and we are going to the Easter Train Ride this upcoming April. I am excited for it!

 I would like to tell you about my favorite composers. These composers made an impact on the stage as well in music. Here is Alan Menken in his recording studio  Alan Menken was one of my favorites. When he passed away in 2021 the loss was immense. Even the Broadway lights dimmed for him. A lot of famous people posted on social media their condolences and their memories of him. My weekend trip to Pennsylvania and Upstate New York

This is the Delaware River On June 21-23 I was at my friend Mike's river home in Damascus, Pennsylvania. It is right by the Delaware River. Mike's mom picked me up from New Jersey and took me to Pennsylvania. When I got there Mike and his girlfriend Lesley were happy to see me. I am also good friends with Lesley. We played a game of Trouble and on Friday night we went to an Italian restaurant called Peppino's. Peppino's is in the Catskills in Callicoon, New York. I got spaghetti and red sauce. It was very delicious. After dinner, we watched the movie The Sandlot on TV. It was a good movie.  This was my dinner at Peppino's On Saturday morning, me, Mike and Lesley had pancakes for breakfast. Mike and his dad made them. They were scrumptious!  After breakfast, we watched the Delaware river go by. For lunch, we went back to Callicoon to the Kitchen Table. My weekend trip June 21-23

Callicoon Theater, Callicoon, NY Usually I use this blog for movie reviews, Broadway musicals, etc. But I also love doing certain things with some friends of mine.  This weekend I am going to my friend Mike's family river home in Damascus, Pennsylvania. It is right on the Delaware River. Mike's girlfriend Lesley is going with us along with Mike's parents and his dogs Trooper and Elsie.  On Friday night, we are going to a restaurant called Peppino's. Peppino's is an Italian restaurant in Callicoon, New York. I have been there in the past and their food is so good!  On Saturday, Mike is going to make some pancakes for breakfast. Then all three of us are seeing the sequel to the movie Inside Out in the Callicoon Theater. It is going to be a good movie.  On Sunday, I am going back to New Jersey from Pennsylvania.
