My review of Smile 2

On October 26, I saw the sequel to Smile. It was called Smile 2. It was about a famous pop singer named Skye Riley who is preparing for a comeback tour.

She had a highly publicized battle with substance abuse and she was injured in a car accident which killed her boyfriend Paul Hudson, a famous actor. During rehearsals for her comeback tour, Skye injured her back while dancing. She sneaks out without her assistant's knowledge to get some Vicodin. Her dealer and former classmate Lewis comes out of his room in a manic state, scared and gets possessed by the Smile demon. He smiles at Skye and smashes a weight plate onto his face. He dies instantly. Skye is traumatized by this and flees.

Skye later experiences hallucinations and is deteriorating mentally. She attends a Grammy/MusicCares event and sees a hallucination of her late boyfriend, Paul Hudson who died in that car accident. She screams and causes a scene at the event. Skye then contacts her ex best friend Gemma to keep her company and stay over. Later, Skye meets a nurse named Morris and they try to figure out how to break the Smile curse.

She later has a flashback to her car accident and she is taken to a wellness center. Skye escapes and carjacks someone to get away from the wellness center. Skye meets Morris at an abandoned building to slow the process and prevent her from getting possessed. Despite this, Skye is still hallucinating and sees the Smile demon who tells her to "break a leg."

Skye is later on stage at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Her assistants are still alive and backstage. She later sees the Smile demon in its true form and it possesses her. She smiles at the audience and stabs herself in the eye and killing herself in from of horrified people at Madison Square Garden.

I thought it was intense and thrilling. I would rate it a 10 out of 10. It was a roller coaster ride for me.

Have you seen the sequel to Smile? If so, what did you guys think about it?
