The Wild Robot review

In the end of September, I saw The Wild Robot in Mountainside, NJ. It was about a robot named ROZZUM 7134 or Roz for short who was washed up and abandoned into a forest island with many animals. She wanders the island and later finds an orphaned gosling.

She befriends a fox named Fink. Together Roz and Fink raise the gosling they named Brightbill.  He helps Roz raise Brightbill as her own child. They teach Brightbill how to swim and the other geese mock the gosling for his size and call Roz a monster. It was around the summertime when this takes place.

Eventually, Brightbill needs to learn how to fly so he can go south for the winter. Roz helps Brightbill to fly.

They later meet up with the other geese and meet Longneck who is an elderly goose. Brightbill and the other geese fly south for the winter. Roz is heartbroken and tries to return to her headquarters. She is later retrieved by Vontra who is another fellow robot. Vontra tries to erase Roz's memories of the island but Roz refuses to let them go.

Fink, Brightbill and the other animals save Roz. The robots that Vontra sends try to destroy the island, but Roz and the animals save it. After that, Roz returns to headquarters and works at the greenhouse. She still has her memories of the island and Brightbill.

I give this movie a 10 out of 10! The reason why is because I love the storytelling and the animation. I also love Lupita Nyong'os performance as Roz. She did a great job! The story shows us how love always survives.

Have you seen the Wild Robot? What do you guys think of it?
