My review of Inside Out Two

On June 22nd, I saw the sequel to Inside Out at the Callicoon Movie theater in Callicoon, NY. I saw it with my friend, Mike and his girlfriend Lesley.

The Callicoon Movie theater has been open since 1948. It is a historic movie theater, big and with only one screen. It has curtains across the stage.

The first movie was about Riley and the emotions she felt about moving to California from Minnesota. The sequel was about Riley and her family a few years after they moved. Riley's emotions in her head from the first movie are named Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust. They are like characters.

In the sequel, Riley goes to hockey camp and a new emotion that comes into Riley's mind is named Anxiety. She has other emotions, as well, named Embarrassment, Nostalgia, Envy, and Ennui (boredom.)

Riley wants to join and fit in with the Firehawks, a hockey team that attended the same hockey camp as her. Anxiety puts Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust in a glass bottle. In the end, the original emotions made peace with the new emotions.

I enjoyed it very much. It made me a bit emotional as well. I related to the movie.

I give it a 10 out of 10 rating!

Have you seen the sequel to Inside Out? How about the original movie? Let me know what you think in the comments below.
