This is the movie poster for A Complete Unknown On December 30, 2024 I saw the Bob Dylan biopic called A Complete Unknown . I saw it in the AMC Mountainside with some friends. It is about the life and career of Bob Dylan before he became famous. It was set during the early 1960's. He had moved to New York City from Minnesota, looking for his hero, Woody Guthrie. It turns out that Woody Guthrie was hospitalized at the time in Graystone Psychiatric Hospital due to a condition called Huntington's Disease. Dylan goes to the hospital to visit Guthrie and he meets Pete Seeger, a famous folk singer who ended up helping Dylan's musical career. While at the hospital, Bob Dylan played a song dedicated to Guthrie called "Songs of Woody". My favorite part of the movie was when Dylan was beginning to get famous and did a duet with Joan Baez at the Newport Folk Festival in Rhode Island. They sang "It Ain't Me, Babe."
